Starting in September 2022 we welcomed a new employee at DOMA - social worker Veronika Klára Endrychová, who replaced Katka Ledényová.
Please meet Veronika:
"The social sphere has always been close to my heart. I started working in this area in 2011 as a social therapist for mentally and physically disabled at the Social Services Center in Dúbravka. Over time, my steps also led to other target groups, such as families, children and youth in the low threshold services center in Devínska Nová Ves, where I worked as a field social worker, a project manager and a therapist. In recent years I have been working in the Chamber of Social Workers and Social Assistants on improving the position of social workers, also with children from marginalized groups in the non-profit organization Beracha o.z., and with high school students as a social educator. During my internship I completed an Art Therapy and Artephyletic course and an Intensive course for working with therapeutic cards.
For me, Doma (At Home) at the Capuchins is an organization that not only welcomes people in a safe and friendly environment, but it also provides professional help in social counseling and guidance. I am glad that I can become a part of this organization."
