From June 1, 2023, we have a new employee at DOMA – a social worker František Smolík, who will also be the coordinator of volunteers.
Here you go, lets meet him:
"I graduated in social work - the field of mission and charity work. While still at school I participated in several missions and humanitarian projects (Uganda, Yakutia, Serbia). After my studies I started working with homeless people in Bratislava. Together with the volunteers we prepared delicious meals for the clients every day. It is true that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but it is also true that a person does not live by bread alone and that is why I have always tried to build a living community. I believe that we will build such a community also at DOMA at the Capuchins, perhaps even with completely new activities and projects... I'm looking forward to it!"
