You may have noticed large food collection containers in Lidl stores. This is a long-term project called "Podeľ sa a pomôž" (Share and Help), which the chain launched in 2020 to help disadvantaged people through local organizations. In each store, there is a collection container into which buyers can put durable food and drugstore goods, which are then distributed by a specific non-profit organization to people in need.
We have recently joined this project too. The collection for us at HOME takes place in the Lidl stores in the village Most pri Bratislave and in Petržalka in OC Danubia.
